Out Of Harm’s Way: This innovative escape system design, which featured an ejection seat with a hang glider-like airfoil instead of a conventional parachute, was tested in the Low Speed Wind Tunnel, or LSWT, at the then-Lockheed-Georgia Company facility in Marietta, Georgia, about 1969. The seat/wing concept (shown attached to the tunnel’s instrumented mounts) was designed to allow the aircrew member to steer away from an enemy location to help avoid capture after ejecting.
A great Space Age pic of Gus Grissom, John Glenn, and Alan Shepard (those zippered suits!) This silvery trio was tapped for “First Man in Space”

This is Easton and I love him. His mom decided to celebrate him being 6 months old with a fun photo shoot. We had so much fun, she had so many props ready to go, it was a blast. He is so adorable. This is one of my favorites from the shoot. Enjoy!
